The Magic

 Kitchen 2.0. 16x20" Oil on canvas. $875

Wanted to see how oil compares to acrylic with this series. I'd say... Not enormously different, but I had more fun making this one. I find oil a little more playful, and at least with the materials I have at my disposal, I don't have to layer as much to get the luminance I want. I also used a pre-painted canvas, which altered the surface texture. And I used some of the lumps within the composition, so the shadows they cast are part of the overall piece.
